Street Maths is an innovative initiative by the School of Research Science (SRS) that takes mathematics beyond the classroom, transforming learning into an interactive, real-world experience. As part of the globally recognized 'Street Maths Day,' this initiative builds problem-solving confidence by applying maths in everyday situations. At SRS, we believe that mathematics is a fundamental life skill essential for decision-making, critical thinking, and real-world success. Through Street Maths, we develop a culture of deep understanding, fluency, and competence in maths—empowering students with the skills they need for the future.

Who Can Participate?

All students from Years 1 – 6

The required attire for the event is the official “Math Street” shirt provided by the school, jeans, and white trainers.

What is the Street Maths Event?

Street Maths is an annual event where students step outside the classroom to apply their maths knowledge in real-life scenarios. They solve problems in an interactive and engaging way, gaining confidence while developing logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
